Sunday collection at the Pala centre
From Sunday, 1 March 2026, the laboratory at our Pala head office is open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Sample collection, processing and report handover are all available during these hours, so patients who cannot come on a working day now have an option closer to home.
The extended timing covers the routine investigations that most people need at short notice:
- Haematology, including complete blood count and ESR
- Biochemistry, including blood sugar, lipid profile, liver and renal function tests
- Thyroid and other hormone assays
- Urine and stool routine examinations
- ECG and digital X-ray
Reports for most routine tests are ready the same evening and can be collected at the front desk or sent on WhatsApp on request. Specialised tests that are processed in batches continue to follow their usual reporting schedule, and the front desk will tell you the expected date when you register.
Our Erattupetta, Vaikom and Ramapuram branches continue to work Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. To confirm whether a particular test is available on a Sunday, please call 04822 212193 before you travel.
