Camp details
KISCO Diagnostic Centre conducted a free diabetes screening camp on Sunday, 19 July 2026 at the Kizhathadiyoor Service Co-operative Bank auditorium, Kizhathadiyoor. The camp was open to all residents of Kizhathadiyoor and the neighbouring wards, and there was no registration fee.
Our technologists were at the venue from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A random blood sugar test was done on the spot using a glucometer, and blood pressure, height and weight were also recorded. Participants whose readings needed a closer look were advised to have a fasting blood sugar and HbA1c test done at any KISCO branch, and the camp counter helped them book a slot.
What participants were asked to bring
- Any previous laboratory reports or prescriptions
- A list of the medicines they are currently taking
- Ration card or Aadhaar for registration at the desk
Fasting was not required for the camp test, so visitors were told to eat as usual before coming. Volunteers from the Bank assisted with registration and queue management through the morning.
